New Beginnings…
In 2020 when kids had to attend school virtually from home, many parents realized how unprepared our public school system was for something like that (definitely understandable!) and decided to homeschool. I was one of those parents, so I put much of my art business on hold while I took on the full time job of teaching my twins. I loved the freedom of choosing my own curriculum and so did my daughters. We were able to focus on topics they were interested in like geology and of course art. We planned on one year of homeschooling then that turned into two years. I am grateful for that time I had with them but they have now returned to public school so I have been able to get back to some of that art that was on hold, like teaching online. I was so honored when not one but two wonderful artists invited me to be a part of their year long art courses.
